ThirstyFest Update
Dear Friends…
As most of you are aware we postponed the EP launch. However we are excited to let you know that next week we will announce when the EP Release will be.
Thanks for allowing us some time to deal with some family matters over the past few weeks. This has given us time to make some important decisions.
We are cancelling ThirstyFest 2011. We feel that this is the best decision for us and our community at this time.
If you registered for ThirstyFest 2011 we need to refund your registration. Could you please email us your bank account details to iamthirsty@thirstytunes.com and we will arrange your refund.

You may have seen our recent twitter feeds and facebook updates that we are hard at work putting together a new EP. Work started a while back on demo’s and arrangements, and final tracking has now finished. I recently had the chance to track some harmonies and vocal layers for some of the songs, and having listened to them, I’m know you will be pleasantly surprised at what we have been working on.
We recently did a tour of the US and had the chance to visit some old and new friends. And it is safe to say that we had an amazing time! One conversation that stuck out to me over that time was with a friend who is a worship pastor at a large church in LA. He said “you guys really have something special, there’s a real unity between you in what you bring and how you flow”. He went on to ask “why are you guys so different and how do you build that in a worship team/band?” The question took me by a little by surprise at first, because you don’t always see that side of things between yourselves when your on the road. However I’ve been musing on it since and what is evident to me, is the tight bond of friendship we all share, and that’s been forged over the years of doing life and music in own our amazing local church. We really are, pardon the pun, a band of brothers, seeking to use our gifts and creativity to bless and encourage the local church. For us, it is, and will always be, about the message and person of Jesus Christ.
There are some amazing songs that have made it onto the new EP from some friends you may not have heard of before and I hope your gona dig them! As I write this, the tracks are being sent to New Zealand to be mixed and mastered by a good friend of ours, so were nearing completion. We are all very excited about the new EP and we hope you will love it! Watch this space for further info…!
